Scouting America Scouting in Laurinburg Pack 447 · Troop 447 · Troop 1447 · Crew 4447
How it works

Four steps, start to finish.

Email the unit that fits your child’s age

Grades K–5 → Pack 447. Grades 5–12 → Troop 447 (boys) or Troop 1447 (girls). Ages 14–20 → Crew 4447. Contacts are on the units page.

Come to a meeting

Cub Scouts meet Mondays at 6:30 pm during the school year. Scouts BSA meets Thursdays 6:30–8:00 pm. The Crew meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday. Wear ordinary clothes — no uniform needed to visit.

Visit again, then register

Most families come twice before joining. When you are ready, the leaders will walk you through the Scouting America application and the youth protection information for parents.

Get the basics

A handbook and a uniform shirt are the only real purchases to start. Camping gear can be borrowed from the unit until you know your child is staying.

What it costs

Registration is $85 per year for every unit here. That is the national Scouting America fee. If cost is the thing standing in the way, say so when you email — units keep funds for exactly this, and no child is turned away over the fee.

Where to find us

Trinity Presbyterian Church

All four units meet in the Fellowship Hall at 13000 Blues Farm Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352. Parking is on site.
